WebCam

Okay, so I'm playing with the notion of webcamming. It's not that I necessarily want to make myself a performance artist. It's just a technical aspect of the web that I've not really played a lot with.

So.

I just wanted to see if my camera could do it.

Obviously the camming will be spotty.

But if you want to see the latest pic, here it is.

I use these images in my livejournal account. Technically I could have my lj scrolling in bluehaven, with no straight link to livejournal, but it's such a great service that I simply want to show it off.

Now, bearblue.com is also a fabulous service, reasonably priced AND once you pay you can put as many images/etc as you like, as long as you keep a real "web" presence behind it.

Well heck, that I can do. Because I enjoy having web presence.

I actually did a Bardcon report that didn't get put in my journal. I wanted to provide a permanent non-scrolling link to my friends who aren't quite as facile with LJ's tendency to scroll by.

So I'll use this space for that kind of thing and link to it from the Sacred Space page.

My reasoning is this: A journal IS a spiritual endeavor. It traces the emotional/physical/spiritual happenings in one's life and one can learn tons of stuff from them. And Journals are much more than photo albums.
