Here's another reminder: If you sent me a bard pick or a suggestion for a bard pick, but haven't seen it posted, please resend it. :)
Those who know me know that I don't read much non-alt fiction (heck, don't read much. period.) Here, I'm actually recommending one... Not just because the writer, LGraham*, is one of my all time fav bards, but because this story somehow has touched me deeply in ways very few others did...
In short: This is literature. It's awesome! It's great! It's also: Extraordinarily creative. Infinitely tender. Incredibly sweet. Deceptively simple. Absolutely moving. Very true to characters -- amazingly so, considering who the characters are in the story. Reminiscient of the bard and warrior we know and love from the first season... (And needless to say, very well written.) Definitely a MUST READ.
And it makes one ponder -- Since when did their destiny become entwine? And just how far back do they go?
* - If you're not familiar with LGraham, her other excellent writings are wonderfully and insightfully reviewed by Flax-the-cool-kitty and Shay-the- awesome-bard in this page as well.
