I thought I'd read all of Elaine's works, but imagine my surprise when I was glancing through one of the Fan Fiction indexes and came across this wonderful tale. Elaine has once again managed to weave a tale, of two women, that entralled me from the beginning.

Hippolyta, the deposed Queen of the Imanni, has found a safe sanctuary among the Amazons. Her only wish is to reclaim her late husband's kingdom and she is willing to go to any lengths to get it back. Even if that means she must make an Alliance of State with the Queen of the Amazons, Melosa.

This is a story of self-discovery and how the treasures of a kingdom pale beside other riches. If you enjoyed "Hooves and Harlots" and "A Necessary Evil", this story is definately one that you shouldn't miss!
