Presumably, Xena and Gabrielle are now a happily joined couple with at least one home that has a roof and four walls. Still - despite everything the two have been through and shared together - Gabrielle wistfully mentions one experience she's always missed. Her wish seems easy enough to grant, so Xena determines to make it come true, soon realizing that she'll have to dig deeper into her many skills than she bargained for.
This is a wonderfully short, sweet story that blends with exquisite simplicity the uncertain innocence of "first time" romances with the confident touches of mature love. Kamouraskan's characterization, dialogue and familiar scenes capture the essence of what we think we know about these people, helping us feel along with them those poignantly awkward, heart-pounding moments when we discover that presenting ourselves to someone we love is new no matter how many suns we've lived, reminding us that sometimes a dream born in its own time might just be better than when it was conceived.
